A Fun and Purposeful Saturday at Kick Off! @ Kovan

It was an energetic Saturday morning corporate partners, beneficiaries, families and friends came together for a day of games and activities at the Kindness Warrior: Rally For School Transport. Organised annually by TOP International Holding and North East CDC, the event raises funds for the North East School Transport Assistance and Relief Scheme (STARS), which provides school transport assistance to students from lower-income families, helping to ease financial burdens and ensuring that every child has reliable access to school.

Renewing and Refreshing Homes in the North East

Volunteers from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and the Singapore Association for the Deaf gathered in good spirits for another heartwarming series of Project Refresh, rolling up their sleeves to conduct simple but meaningful home refurbishment works while engaging in light-hearted conversations and crafts with seniors from Sengkang East. Every home refreshed is a life touched — a reflection of the kindness and dedication of all who came together to build a more caring and connected community.

Bringing Vibrant Local Arts to Our Neighbourhoods

Residents enjoyed a fun-filled day as the next phase of ArtsEverywhere @ CDC kicked off at Our Tampines Hub, with lively performances and interactive activities for all ages. Through more community outreach and a wider range of cross-cultural programmes, the initiative brings the arts closer to home, making it easier for residents to discover, enjoy and connect with Singapore's vibrant local arts scene while celebrating the rich diversity of our cultures.

Bridging Communities and Inspiring Youth Through Student Dialogues

Students from Temasek Polytechnic (TP) and the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) engaged in meaningful conversations with Mayor Baey Yam Keng on topics close to youths' hearts. Through discussions on community, careers and family, participants gained fresh perspectives and valuable insights, while reflecting on how they can contribute to their communities and become active citizens who help shape a more caring and inclusive society.
